She is founder and past coordinator of The Exiles in San Francisco and has organized numerous events and fundraising efforts. She is currently one of the producers of Leather Traditions, a group dedicated to support, education and mentoring through weekend retreats. She identifies as a Sir and a Daddy and has a collared boy who has been in her service for ten years. Her participation in the community comes from a passion for the Leather lifestyle and for sharing that passion whenever possible.

Dirk and sarah’s relationship began as dominant/submissive in the 1990s. They attended many BDSM events and presented numerous workshops on shibari and suspension bondage and other “technique”-based subjects. A milestone in their journey was attending the seminal 1999 Master-slave conference in Atlanta. There they discovered concepts that spoke to their passions, provided new energy and awareness, and gave them a language to explore the potential of their own relationship. Since then, they have consciously evolved how they view and live their relationship, into one that is based on full time ownership, leather, and mastery and slavery. Evelyn is an Illinois licensed therapist as well as an academically trained research scientist. She has been providing professional clinical counseling services for the bdsm/ds, TG, poly, and other lifestyle communities for the past ten years. Evelyn studies teams, on-line jealousy, and human sexuality. As part of her academic training toward a doctorate of psychology, Evelyn completed an in-depth BDSM study. She has presented the results of this research at the 52nd annual Congress of the Society for Scientific Study of Sexuality and to several Chicago area lifestyle venues – the LRA (formerly the Leather Rose) and the Rockford REALM. In addition, she has presented on a variety of psychological topics as they relate to bdsm/ds dynamics. Some of those workshops include ‘Communicating, BDSM style’; ‘Conditioning: It’s not just for your hair’; ‘About the Sane part of SS&C’; ‘Dynamics of D/s’; and ‘Trusting Relationships’. Evelyn continues to work on several research projects, as well as her dissertation.

Glenda Rider dates her participation in the "organized scene" back to the National Lesbian Conference held in Atlanta in 1991. Connections were made there which led to her becoming the first woman to hold an Eagle Bar title as Ms Baltimore Eagle 1992.

She is retired from the Boards of Directors of the National Coalition for Sexual Freedom (NCSF) and the Leather Leadership Conference (LLC), and has received numerous awards from the leather community including the Leatherwoman Heart Award and the Pantheon of Leather Woman of the Year Award.

Glenda owns Play House Studios in Baltimore, which is 4500 square feet of play space (including many different fantasy spaces) decorated with her large fetish art collection. She is also the Owner and one of the Producers of International Ms Leather which celebrates it’s 26h Year the last weekend of March 2012 in San Francisco.

Jeffrey Payne, International Mr. Leather 2009, is originally from Maine and moved to Louisiana at the young age of 3. He relocated to Texas after Hurricane Katrina shook the city of New Orleans. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University, and currently owns and manages Notarius Reporting, a court-reporting firm, and is co- owner of the Dallas Eagle. He works diligently as a Board Member of the Sharon St. Cyr Fund (SSC Fund) to raise money for individuals within our community to assist them with the purchase of hearing aids and to provide grants to organizations for Sign Language Interpreters. Jeffrey also serves as President and Webmaster for Leather Knights, a Board Member of CLAW, a member of NLA – International and NLA – Dallas, as well as a voting member of the Leather Archives and Museum.

Professionally, Jeffrey is a member of the Dallas Court Reporters Association serving as the Budget Committee Chair, as well as an active member of the Texas Court Reporters Association. He also serves as the Webmaster for seven different professional and community-based websites.

In the last two years alone, Jeffrey has attended over 100 events spanning the globe, judging leather contests, emceeing fundraisers, teaching workshops and officiating weddings, as Jeffrey is also an ordained minister.

Jeffrey is married to David Roy and together they share their Dallas home their six children, Isabella, Lucy & Wilson (miniature Dachshunds), Korbin & Konner (miniature Poodles) and Riley (teacup Maltese).
 

Justin Tanis has been enjoying SM for over 25 years and has served as a slave for almost 16 years. He has served as the editor of The Leather Times, the newsletter of the Leather Archives & Museum, and has been honored to received the2008 Pantheon of Leather Rocky Mountain Regional Award, the Southwest Leather Conference Spirit of Service Award in 2011, and the Master Jack McGeorge Excellence in Education Award from the Master/slave Conference in 2011. Justin has presented at a wide range of leather events including Leather Leadership Conference, Southplains Leatherfest, the Master/slave Conference, Los Angeles Leather Weekend and Rio Grande Leather. He works for a national LGBT advocacy organization.

Konraad has been actively involved with power exchange relationships and SM for most of his adult life. He has consciously influenced his approach to SM and power exchange relationships with principles and techniques gleaned from sport science, medieval history, martial arts and his religious path. Currently, Konraad owns and runs a small law firm. He is a trial attorney and court certified mediator, specializing in Criminal Defense. As a Special Victims prosecutor and later the ‘special assignments’ prosecutor for a large district attorney’s office he handled many kink related crimes and prosecutions of adult businesses. Later as a private attorney his clients have included adult businesses and those charged with alleged crimes arising from kink/SM related activities. He has appeared many times on national and local news programs in a representative capacity and as a paid commentator, often in cases dealing with constitutional rights and/or the sex industry. These appearances have included Fox News, CNN, Larry King, Nancy Grace, Good Morning America and CBS World News.
