There is power in sharing ceremony with witnesses. In the past, the conference has not offered a dedicated location for ceremonies such as Collarings, Cover Presentations, Unions and the like. This year, we are introducing the Ceremony Room to our SWLC program.
The Ceremony Room is a dedicated place where attendees can schedule a time for ceremonial use, at no charge, to share with chosen friends, family and those attending the conference.
- Reservations are for a maximum of 90 minutes and will be on a first come, first serve basis by emailing Master Fire no later than January 5th, 2012.
- Openings available once the conference begins will be indicated on a sign-up sheet at the door of The Ceremony Room.
- The room will contain candles in glass containers, pillows and chairs
- Outside decorations are allowed, but must be used/mounted in a way that does not damage hotel property (no holes in the walls, use of blue painters tape only).
- Participants may take photos inside the room with permission from the specific ceremony organizer.
- Food or beverage is not allowed in The Ceremony Room. Guests are encouraged to visit the Hospitality Suite orthe hotel lounge to continue celebrating.
- A collection of simple sample ceremonies will be available in the room
- All guests and participants must be registered attendees of SWLC.
- A list of registered attendees who are offering their services as officiants will be posted on this page and in The Ceremony Room.
If you are an officiant who is attending SWLC and can offer your service in The Ceremony Room please let us know.
Please contact Master Fire to reserve your special allotted time.
